Independent Panel’s Report on Family Justice System

The panel held two rounds of consultation with over 100 meetings in 15 locations around New Zealand. Over 500 submissions were received.The 142-page report makes 70 recommendations, which propose wide-ranging changes to the family justice system. The principal recommendation calls for the development of a joined-up family justice service – Te Korowai Ture ā-Whānau.The full report is available on the Ministry of Justice website.
